Use of addictive substances by children and adolescents in context of their treatment in the Children's psychiatric hospital

The bachelor thesis called Abuse of addictive substances by children and adolescents in context of their therapy in the Children's Psychiatric Hospital is focused on experience of hospitalized girls with abuse of legal and illegal addictive drugs. The theoretical part deals with description of the target group. Furthermore it outlines warning signals, risks and factors of becoming addicted. The practical part of the bachelor thesis surveys experience of the hospitalized girls with abuse of the addictive drugs. Furthermore it finds, when the girls started abusing the addictive drugs and why. The research file contained four girls hospitalized in the Children's psychiatric hospital. The research is carried out by means of semi-structured interviews. On the research questions, an analysis of interviews is made as well as their comparison to results of the ESPAD study. It results from the research that the interviewed girls most often use cigarettes, alcohol and marihuana. The most of them stated experience with abuse of an additive substance till the age of 15 years. The surveyed group most often started abusing additive drugs among friends. Crimes related to the abuse of addictive substances Abstract The diploma thesis deals with the drug crimes and it is split into four chapters. In the first chapter author describes the addictive substances from the historical point of view. Firstly from the general historical point of view and secondly from the law historical point of view. The author also uses the ineffective laws that regulated the addictive substances from the nineteenth century and recent laws, which regulate the addictive substances. In the second chapter there are described the most common addictive substances which the application praxis mostly struggles with. Author describes those addictive with the focus on their influence on the human organism and the possibility ty consider how they influence the controlling and the recognizing abilities. The third chapter is the most extensive and it focuses on the crimes related to the abuse of addictive substances from the point of view of the substantive law. In this chapter, there are described facts of the drug crimes. The thesis is conceived in two parts. In the first part, the reader will find an outline of the interdisciplinary topic of the topic, but above all the key findings that K. Horney and M. Seligman developed as part of their psychotherapeutic practice with poorly adapted individuals. The second part is a case study of a long-term marijuana individual. The case study seeks to capture, besides the personal history of an individual, the characteristics of his current life situation and specific circles of his attitudes. The findings are then compared with the findings of the authors, with which the reader has the opportunity to get acquainted with the first part of the thesis.
